Tournament Details:

• When: Saturday, August 9

• Where: Good Park Golf Course, Akron

• Tee Time: 8 a.m. (shotgun start)

•  Cost: $100

 

Teams: Tiretown, Wedge Club, Par 5, Warren Travelers, Par Breakers, Caddyshacker's, NBT

 

Team entry ($400)/registration fee:  Due by June 15 (Will be paid by the league)

Individual players fees ($100): Due by July 13

Player fees of $100 will need to be paid to Birkett by Friday, July 11th

              

               

Players – 144 golfers (20 to 24 players per team)

Assignment/Roster deadline/completion date: Monday, July 28 (Teams determine qualifying standards)

All golfers must have 5 events/tournaments to qualify

 

Rules (Governance Committee, per 2024 review)

• Triple bogey rule

• Age/handicap requirements (A,B,C flights, women)

• Seniors are 65 and over

• Hole-in-one contest (Bill Alford) ($185)

• Proximity holes on all 4 par-3s for men; and women – $5 per player for proximity. [option to donate $100 to women’s proximity]

• Roll the ball no more than 4 inches

• Free drop on man-made objects, etc.

• Rule sheet required on all carts – announced by starter

• Tee box: White (64-under), Gold (seniors), Red (women)

 

Meet & Greet, Friday, August 8 at Edgar’s Restaurant at Good Park, Akron 7 p.m. –

Please RSVP on Aug. 1.

 

Tournament warm-up round on Friday, Aug. 8 at Mayfair CC: Ten (10) tee times for nine holes. Noon start. Check green fees.

 

​50/50 raffle (Host team for misc. cost) – Two winners…. arm's length for $20, 3 for $10 and 1 for $5.

 

Skin pots (A, B, C flights, Women and overall pot) – $10 for each player and a super skin pot ($10).
